What we do

INDIVIDUALS: 

• CUTTING THE BAGS OR MAKING  THE MATS: helping us cut up the bags and/or make the mats. It's easy and fun, no experience required! You can do it at home, with your family (or the TV!).  Click on the Video tab above to view our easy how-to videos.

• SEWING: With winter coming, we desperately need volunteers to help us sew sleeping bags. These are made from recycled tarps using a simple pattern (no zips, nothing fancy!) and we can supply all the material.

• DRIVING: Our biggest cost as a charity is postage/shipping. Driving for us even an hour a week would make such a HUGE difference to us. 

• ANY ROOM IN YOUR TRUCK? If you have a truck that has any room in it and is already driving to regional areas/interstate, please let us know if we could pop a few boxes into the truck to drop at super-convenient spot on the way.

SCHOOLS, CORPORATES & GROUPS

• SCHOOLS: holding a workshop as part of our fun and educational Student Volunteering Program

• COMPANIES: holding one of our Corporate Volunteering/ Teambuilding workshops for your staff, to help us make the mats

• GROUPS: holding a workshop to help us make the mats , perhaps a "Nest & Sip" or Morning Tea

• OTHER HELP NEEDED: providing skills like graphic design, printing, legal advice, storage, courier or IT/web services
